Launch Checklist
Get up and running with your first class on TeachKit!
0 of 7 completed
Tell your potential students who you are! Add a photo, bio, and custom details so your profile stands out. A completed profile builds trust and encourages enrollments.
2. ADD BASIC INFO FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS
Create the basics of your class by adding the title, thumbnail, category, and other details. These basics help students understand what the class covers and how it fits into their learning goals.
3. ADD CLASS INSTRUCTIONS
Include information for your potential students about what desired outcome they can hope to achieve by taking your course. Remember, try to focus less on features (over 50 videos and downloadable worksheets) and more on benefits (learn how to become an expert in Figma). This also provides you a place where you can specify class-specific instructions to help ensure students get the most out of your lessons.
Choose where your lessons will be hosted by linking a YouTube or Vimeo account or by preparing an iframe embed from your preferred video platform.
5. ADD VIDEO LESSONS TO YOUR CLASS
Embed or upload your video content for each lesson. Videos can be hosted on YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, or any iframe-supported platform.
6. ADD A CALL TO ACTION
Optionally, make the final "completion" button of your class double as a button that takes students to a URL of your choosing. This is a great way to transition into selling a larger course, coaching, a product, or anything you wish.
7. PUBLISH YOUR CLASS
Once you have all of your lessons added and information configured for your class, you’re ready to publish! Be sure to double-check your class’ landing page and class layout to ensure everything looks good. Once you’re ready, change that class status from draft to publish and share it with the world!
